Full bodied

So my watermark logo for Daemoniac always started out as a head and nothing more and ran along the lines of heraldry style. Now i love wolves, always have but i also love bears and lions [how can i not like lions with a hairstyle like that] so i incorporated those elements into the logo which gave me a sort of bearlionwolf feel. So now i included the body which i cleaned up from a very old digital sketch done a few years back.

Ring ring zombie phone!

So i forgot about this little guy! i don’t know if you have seen him before but he was drawn around the same time i was inking the zombie wallet and now adorns the intercom door thingy of my cousins apartment.

And there it ran

Woof! just a little logo based around a slim-line 20’s/30’s feel. I’ve always admired logos with sleek animal forms. Such as Jaguar, Ferrari, Greyhound express and even red bull.

Now i have my own using the colours i find the most appealing. Red and Black in ode to my original founding name CrimsonBlack.

Snowballs

Another BandBlast poster for Young Cumbria! I tried finding an appropriate paintbrush for a snowman but after a 20min search i couldn’t find anything i really liked so!! I had to draw the little bugger from scratch! so here he is.

Moshi Birds

So as per request of my cousin who wants two small canvases of Moshi monsters and Angry Birds for her daughter’s son i broke out the Montana gold spray paints, POSCA pens and my aging acrylics.

First i sprayed the two canvases [one of which had some under-painting] then free handed Katsuma [a very pikachu’ish looking Moshi Monster] painted the major parts of him in mixed acrylic paint [as i didn’t have a Montana spray in orange] then basically after he dried i went to town on him with POSCA pens.

The second canvas is mostly stencil work i did using colouring in print-odd from the Moshi Monsters home sites [for a clean black and white image] and added in the bridges i needed to the line art. The stencils were all three tier; block colour, beaks/eyes and then the black outlines being the final stencil. All the touch-ups were done with POSCA pens and as a final touch i added in random clouds.

Money Rats

And so i made something for myself 😀 According to the Chinese zodiac I’m a rat! and due to my year of birth I’m a wood rat.

And of course i took my small and annoyingly blank inner wallet card holder [s the outer one was eaten by a large octopus] and spend the 20min journey back home doodling on it :3
